Week of 9/16 - 9/20

This week I completed my lip gloss holder project. I glued the sides of the lip gloss holder together and built the stand to hold it up. The result turned out very good with just a few minor issues in the gluing process. The glue I used is a bit visible in some areas of the lip gloss holder because there was too much at the joints of the holder that spilled out onto the walls. Other than that, the holder turned out perfectly.

I began work on a new project after bringing home the lip gloss organizer. In my sophomore year, I started experimenting with a lamp project that would be remote-controlled to change the color to my liking from the remote. Using potentiometers I was able to control the red, green, and blue values to create the colors that I wanted on the Neopixel ring.

My hope is to create a lamp that I can mount to my wall and make a remote that can control both the color and brightness of the lamp.
