This week I finished up designing the bedside table I have been working on. This table is for my little sister and initially, I intended on designing the table to be about 15 inches long, 8 inches wide, and about 20 inches high so it could be easily accessible to her from her bed. However, when I finished the design, she said she didn't want the table to be as big and asked me to size it down a bit. So now, I changed the parameters of the design to be 8X8 inches for the tabletop then about 16 inches high.

Since the table is much smaller now, I do not need to model it so it suits the router. I now plan on just cutting it on the laser cutter after I redesign it. The circles that I had to include in the router design I do not need (or want) the circles in the cut out of the table. After I cut it out, I plan to assemble then paint it so it looks good in my room.

I was searching for another project to do while I took a little break from the table because I did not want to fully redesign the whole table yet. My dad then asked me to create a light box of sorts so he could take good pictures of the dishes he sells at his restaurant. The box is just a regular box made out of wood, painted white, with lights lining the top and bottom of the box. The box is open on two sides so that the pictures of the food can be easily taken.
