This week I cont8inued working on the design for the boat skeleton. I realized I had to start over from the one I had made previously because of a few mistakes I made in its construction. the boat I made before had a base that was not flat, meaning the ribbing for the skeleton would be drastically different at different points of the boat. The rounded base of the boat would not allow me to make consistent ribs and slots for the bottom of the boat's skeleton. Along with this, my current file has a covering where the boat should be open.

To remake this, I had to restart my design and create another face for the bottom of the boat. In this new design, the bottom of the boat is perfectly flat. This way, when I start making the ribs for the base of the boat, the slots that I need to make for the components that fit within each other are consistent across the whole boat. I now have to create the sketches for the actual ribs following the lines I've drawn on the boat so far to create the ribs.
